Scope of Responsibilities
Jeff Howell joined NAI Charter in 2025 as a Senior Advisor, where he provides client-focused representation in commercial property sales, leasing, site selection, and development services. He works across all major property types—including office, industrial, retail, and land—serving tenants, landlords, investors, and developers.
Jeff has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate development, project management, and leasing. With a proven track record of leading projects across multiple asset classes—including retail, build-to-rent, multi-family, and industrial—Jeff has successfully delivered more than $100 million in ground-up developments throughout the Southeast.
Background & Experience
Previously, Jeff served as Vice President of Development at Rise Partners, where he led projects from concept to completion, managed entitlement and permitting processes, secured financing, and oversaw construction to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. In addition to development, Jeff directed leasing and property management initiatives, negotiating with national retailers and managing investor relations for a diverse retail portfolio.
Prior to Rise Partners, Jeff held leadership roles at CBL Properties, The Hutton Company, EMJ Corporation, and Ashmore Bros., Inc. Throughout his career, he has cultivated expertise in market analysis, site selection, due diligence, construction management, and tenant relations, making him highly skilled in navigating complex development cycles.
