NAI Charter Delivers Results in 2011
NAI Charter is pleased to announce completed commercial and industrial real estate transactions for 2011 in excess of $47 million. David F. DeVaney, SIOR, CCIM and President, stated that NAI Charter closed over 100 commercial transactions involving 1,561,547 SF of space for a value of $47,704,658. This represents a 35% increase in the dollar volume and a 10% increase in the square footage from 2010.
NAI Charter sold or leased 35 warehouses and industrial properties totaling 824,317 SF for a value of $15,146,000. Notable transactions in this sector included Simplex Grinnell, McKee Baking Company and Arcade Printing (Visant).
NAI Charter also closed 43 office transactions totaling 266,000 SF for a value of $14,068,000. Notable transactions included the sale of the 136,000 SF Miller Building by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee and leases with Merastar, Volkert Engineering and TVA.
NAI Charter completed 13 retail transactions totaling 463,437 SF for a value of $17,639,300. Notable transactions included the sale of Belle Island in Pigeon Forge, Infiniti/Volvo, Kia/Mazda and Cadillac dealerships, and the Ethan Allen Furniture Store.
NAI Charter’s current property inventory is in excess of $100 million dollars.
