NAI Charter Completes over $62 Million in Transactions in 2017

CHATTANOOGA, TN – January 17, 2018 – NAI Charter is pleased to announce completed commercial and industrial real estate transactions in excess of $62.2 million in 2017. David F. DeVaney, SIOR, CCIM and President, stated that NAI Charter has closed 74 commercial transactions involving 1,247,159 SF of space and 38.39 acres of commercial land.

 

Industrial

NAI Charter sold or leased 24 industrial properties totaling 928,761 SF for a value of $15,969,183. Notable transactions included Trane, Coca-Cola, Cintas, Revcar and Simplex Grinnell.

Office

NAI Charter also sold or leased 25 office transactions totaling 163,210 SF for a value of $24,470,832. Notable transactions included SE Retina Associates, Center for Sports Medicine, National Seating, Belhaven University and Lawson Winchester.

Retail

NAI Charter sold or leased 9 retail transactions totaling 29,042 SF for a value of $6,462,037. Notable transactions included Agape Math, Funky Monkey, Jack’s Family Restaurant and Body Fitness of Chattanooga.

Land

NAI Charter sold 11 land transactions totaling 38.39 acres for a value of $5,719,500. Notable transactions included Old Chicago, Chestnut Street, E 42^nd Street and Carter Street.

Investment

NAI Charter sold 5 transactions totaling 126,146 SF for a value of $$9,600,000. Notable transactions included Four Corners and Shallowford Road.
