Former Olan Mills property sold

CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE | April 30th, 2021 | The former Olan Mills property in Bonny Oaks Industrial Park was sold by Bryan Rudisill, SIOR, Vice President of NAI Charter. The facility was taken over by Lifetouch in 1999 in association with the corporate sale of Olan Mills to Lifetouch.  At the height of its operation, the facility was home to some 600 employees. The facility includes 73,000 square feet of specialty purpose design built for the processing of family, school, and church portraits.  The building was built in 1990 on approximately 11.5 acres. Shutterfly Inc. ultimately consumed all the assets of Lifetouch and shut down operations of the plant in 2020.

Goodwill Industries, Inc. purchased the facility. The purchase price is undisclosed.  Goodwill will transform the property into their offices, and a job training facility, in addition to utilizing the property for other community services and outreach. Plans are to relocate entirely from their current location to the new facility as soon as possible.
